A 13-minute ride from Mazlinkov will take you to the bottom station of the four-seater bubble cable car. Parking is free and the family can enjoy a fun full day here in any season.
WINTER: Instructors at the children's ski park Primáček U Huga can teach your children in their snow nursery. For adults and more confident skiers, Klínovec offers 47km of ski slopes.
SUMMER: The cable car will bring you to the top of Klínovec where you can combine fun in the BikePark with attractions for children. I recommend the Azur trail for a family experience. It is a wonderful ride both on a bike and on a scooter - but they rent them to children from the age of 6. A trampoline park and playground await at the cable car station.
A spa town neighbouring Ostrov which used to be the second most populous settlement in the Czech lands in the 16th century. Thanks to the recent UNESCO inscription, historical houses here are being renovated and you can feel for yourself that the amazing square will find its lost splendour again in a few years.
Withchildren, there are three main destinations in Jáchymov:

A unique mountain village, which will either be hidden in the frequent fog, or - if weather allows - which will captivate you with its splendid panoramas. A classic here is the Little Jesus (Czechia's Santa Claus) Trail - a walk passable with a pram, I recommend combining it with the trail through the local bogs. Don't forget to write a letter to ježíšek (Santa Claus) at the municipal post office, because it is here in Boží Dar that he has his official mailbox!
The Novako family area has year-round entertainment, children can ski here and you can have fun snowtubing together in winter. In summer, you can go down the slope with your toddlers on carts, play on their playground, climb through the rope park... In any case, it's convenient to park at Novako, whatever you decide to do in Boží Dar.
One of the most charming places I have visited in Czechia. Loket is a beautiful town with a meandering river, a medieval castle on a big rock and a picturesque little square. There is a lovely pram-friendly trail leading from the town centre to the Svatosske Rocks. Don't miss Svatoška, a children's paradise with animals, the largest air trampoline in the Czech Republic and refreshments.
The magnificent pearl of Czech spa towns, where you can return again and again and always discover something great and new. Park your car in Moskevska Street, start your visit in the perfectly rated Café Parisienne (unfortunately without a children's corner, but with toddler-friendly benches) and then wander along the colonnade. Buy a tasting cup, your kids will have fun trying out various "yuckyyy" springs.
You can also go to Vary to see nature - the town is surrounded by foresty hills; you'll enjoy a game preserve full of deer, fallow deer and wild boar at Svatý Linhart. This park also delights children from the age of 5 with its rope park. Another trip option is to take the cable car from Hotel Pupp to a lookout tower and the Diana butterfly house.
And where to go on foot? Definitely to the Ostrov's castle park, Art&Ceramic and Borecké Ponds. In summer, the town attracts with an outdoor swimming world with a paddling pool, a pool with water 60-80cm and a slide.
